International Symposium “Recording Industry of Academic Music”

The First International Symposium «Recording Industry of Academic Music» held in Moscow on October 22-23, 2019. Participants were able to get acquainted with the NIKFI studio condenser microphones.

The event, which brought together leading experts in the field of sound recording and representatives of the music world, became part of the International Clean Sound Award, organized by the Guild of Sound Engineers of the Russian Musical Union (RMU).

This is the first large-scale event in Russia devoted entirely to the problems of the recording industry of academic music.

The participants of the symposium discussed the main problems of the industry, the possibilities of solving them and developed proposals for the development of the domestic industry of recording academic music.

 

The largest representatives of the recording industry, Russian and foreign musicians, performers, musicologists and producers discussed current issues related to the work of the sound engineer in the digital age. Lectures and presentations were made by key figures of the Russian and international recording markets.

NIKFI’s microphones aroused great interest both among eminent representatives of the recording industry and among musical youth. No one was indifferent – to evaluate the capabilities of technology and their strength could be right on the spot.

During the symposium, specialized master classes were held: NIKFI (Russia),  Yamaha (Japan), Oktava (Russia), Nevaton (Russia), Simple Way (Latvia), Neumann / Sennheiser (Germany) showcased their latest products.
